Yes. ECruiser will be fully compatible also with IE8.

Is there any timeline for IE8/9 support? Which version will we have to upgrade to? Will the upgrade be backwards-compatible with IE7?

Version 1.1.10 is compatible with IE8. We keep the backward compatibility with the previous versions of IE (6 and 7).
