Is there a way on the lookupinput to turn the suggestion widget off so that you can type and then on demand pop up the lookup table? Our suggestion list is rather large so you can type and tab faster than the ajax events can keep up which results in the suggestion table being left as rendered and no way to hide it.

You only have to set suggestDisabled="true" at lookupinput level, and the suggestion list will be disabled.
