For customers with multiple environments and to give you an opportunity to evaluate any impacts ahead of time, we will be updating your Dev and QA environments with the OS updates, early Tuesday morning EST, January 21, 2020. We expect this update to be completed before the start of your business day. The servers will be rebooted at this time. We will notify you when these Dev and QA upgrades are complete after which you can perform testing as you deem appropriate.

If you identify any issues, please submit a Service Desk ticket. Assuming no issues, we will update Production during the maintenance window.

We are performing planned database software updates, firmware upgrades, and installing recommended operating system patches. As an additional safeguard, we are encrypting all database server disks, that have no PHI information. (Disks with PHI information are already encrypted.) This month, we will encrypt Postgres database server disks. There will be no changes to any customer applications and minimum or no service downtime. However, we expect operating system updates will require rebooting servers so any unsaved desktop changes may be lost.
